Liz Foulks is a contemporary painter based in New York City.

Liz’s work explores the delicate balance between darkness and light, blending elements of reality and abstraction.
She has been creating art since childhood, first self-taught and later refining her skills while studying Visual Arts at Fordham University. By day, she leads an in-house graphic design team, drawing from her experience in digital design to inform her painting practice.
Her latest series explores the nuances of the human form and the unique reflections that occur when pairing them with abstract moments. This work is an immersive experience, inviting viewers to connect with the emotions and narratives hidden into each piece. Recently, she has turned inward, painting landscapes from her travels in Japan and using her own photographs as the foundation for new work.
Liz resides in New York City with her husband & her feline companion/muse, Luna. Her work has been featured in galleries across New York, including Awita New York, Ildiko Butler Gallery, Buster Levi Gallery, and more.
